Simplification of this master bathroom took it from being a heavy, dated space with an inaccessible built-in tub to being an airy, open and inviting room with the spa-like feel of a retreat. Omega vanities, lifted from the floor with legs, look like a pair of matching furniture items. The extra thick quartz tops provide a rich look. On top of the counter, a pair of tall cabinets offer extra storage and symmetrical balance. The frameless shower with quartz backsplash presents a fresh update while allowing light to filter in. Throughout the home, additional bathrooms and a laundry room were refashioned to blend with the home’s new contemporary feel. Note the wallpaper backsplash in the powder room and the herringbone subway tile used in the laundry room.
