Project Description
A condo by the beach goes from dark and traditional to light and coastal, without doing much to change the footprint. Bright white cabinetry enhanced with transom lights and blue lowers brings interest and diversion to the design. Removing the small peninsula at the end of the room opens the space, making room for a larger, more functional pantry. For flavor, a Spanish tile backsplash is incorporated above the stove, which is beautifully offset by a small chimney hood. At the far end of the room, a petite nook contains both a small desk and a cozy coffee station, creating a space within a space. Clean, white counters and brushed gold hardware complete the new, cheerful look of this kitchen by the beach.
