Project Description
A black and white kitchen with natural wood-color LVP flooring brings a contemporary lift to a dated footprint, which also suffered water damage. The damaged wall, which blocked the kitchen off from the entry and living areas, was removed, opening the entire ground level to an interconnected flow between the rooms, making the new footprint more cozy, as well as airy. A 36″ Wolf range is accented with a custom shiplap hood in charcoal black to match the island. A sleek waterfall edge gives the island a clean, contemporary look. Simple paneling on the back side of the island presents an elegant silhouette to the home entry and living room. Matching quartz backsplashes on the sink and stove walls further accent the contemporary vibe. A large window and extended counter enlarged the entire kitchen area, increasing storage and prep space while opening the view to the backyard. The black and white theme was carried into the Family Room with dark, horizontal-grain tile with a wood feel, to tie in with the kitchen.
