48” might not seem like a lot, until you have a double oven and cooktop ready for family brunch or girl’s night in at your fingertips. The design team at Preferred Kitchen & Bath opened the room even further by adjusting the sink placement, creating a light and airy focal point beneath the window, which in turn, was designed in lieu of a heavier sliding door. An island extension provides ample room for food preparation or a friendly drink while dinner is on. Floating cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a luxurious Calacatta backsplash elevate the space to a contemporary finish.
