Project Description
This large kitchen had a lot of underused space, which was remedied width-wise by expanding into the arched kitchen foyer. This allowed for an elongated island with additional storage and seating for 4. In the widened space, an appliance garage with upper and lower storage serves as a functional coffee station, and by removing the wall ovens, we were able to expand the refrigeration to include 30″ fridge and freezer columns with a 12″ wine column set in between. The new cooking arrangement is centralized within the 48″ Wolf Range with dual ovens, alongside which is additional counter space, created by the new cabinet design. Glass transom cabinets lift the eye while serving as a unifying element. The fireplace was completely modernized, drawing the kitchen and family room together for a totally cohesive look.
