Project Description
Natural wood tones and black accents turn this kitchen from passe to fabulous, even though much of the footprint was left intact. A 48″ Thermador Range centralizes the cooking underneath a striking black hood with a wood band. Spice and utensil drawers on either side enhance organization for the cook. A backsplash in white, made of handmade clay tile, is a bright backdrop to this stunning focal point. Opposite the island, black upper cabinets with glass panels create another focal point while offering an extra counter for work space. Just beyond, a large pantry space which leads from the garage to the kitchen contains additional cabinetry, including 2 extra large pull outs for jumbo dog food bags, making it a breeze to feed the family’s 3 extra large dogs. Back in the kitchen, the refrigerator wall is refashioned to include two- 30″ fridge/freezer columns with a beverage center in between for cold drinks and coffee. Nearby, the butler pantry is converted to a splendid wine station.
