The Summerhill Court kitchen remodel features a room add-on, enlarging the space and connecting both kitchen and living areas. The counter is extended in a continuous, clean line with 2 small peninsulas – one at either end with seating. A turned leg gives a furniture-like appearance to the Family Room side. Switching from wall ovens to a full range, the cooking is centralized while making room for a larger refrigerator and tall storage. Creating the peninsula also provides a space for a mini beverage fridge. A contrast of finishes, painted white and gray woodtone, adds dimension and interest as well as an easy transition from kitchen to living space.
