Project Description
This kitchen transformation grew to encompass the living and dining areas, creating a unified, modern and beautiful family space. Outmoded mahogany cabinetry was replaced with crisp white shaker cabinets with full-overlay doors and stainless hardware. A 48-inch range with gorgeous herringbone backsplash includes a convenient pot-filler and microwave drawer on the same wall. The sink wall features a picture window facing onto a garden, apron sink, an appliance garage and a dramatic repeat of the herringbone backsplash. Notice how the arch detail unites the row of upper cabinets over the window. A petite island offers cozy, casual seating while the SubZero 48″ professional refrigerator with glass door sits in its own niche. Rich, darkwood floors ground the entire space and retain some warmth in the design scheme.
